June Deals & Discounts for Writers
I've always struggled with asking for help as an author, but I'd like your help, in exchange for some awesome goodies...
I get bouts of anxiety whether I ask other writers to beta read my novels or request recommendation letters for writing fellowships. It only got worse when I became an author and the publishing industry told me, "Market yourself!" and "Sell your books!" and "Be a social media genius!"
I'm the kind of author that creates a book or class, throws it into the world, and hopes you find it. That hasn't worked for me in the past... so I'm going to swallow my anxiety and ask for your help with spreading the word on the Magical Realism writing class I'm teaching in July 2026.

Here's how it'll work:
From now until July 3, share the link to my magical realism class up to three times on your social media pages, stories, newsletter, or podcast. (You can share on the same social account 3 times or on 3 different accounts, however, you see fit.) For each share, you get a discount or deal, which means you can get one or two discount/deals or all three of them depending on if you share once, twice, or three times.
Take a screenshot of the share(s) and send them all in one email to AlexRTemblador@gmail.com (please don't forget the 'R' between my first and last name or it won't send the email to me!) with subject line: MAGICAL REALISM.
In the email, tell me which deal/discount you want (writing craft book, writing course, and/or editing checklist).
I'll send you a discount code and instructions on how to use it on my website. Discount codes can only be used once per person.

Whatever you would like! If you've taken a class with me or read one of my books, share your experience. Otherwise, go to the class page (here) and copy and paste some of the information like the class title, date, how it's online, class description, and course outline.
